While I haven't looked into that part of the game, I can only assume this method of PvP was chosen to encourage players to P2WĪll of this said though, I really don't see any of this mattering if you manage to not care about leaderboards and don't engage with PvP. Such as an emphasis on ladder pushing, some systems to get players invested in ladders while always increasing their ladder pool to higher spending players, things such as that.Īnd PvP is being added, "King of the Hill" style. I do expect some design decisions being related to this, though. While 84 of the mobile market is freemium/free-to-play, not all of them follow p2w. ![]() This game is f2p, so it will 100 have mtx. Overwatch, WoW, HotS and Hearthstone all have microtransactions. While I do think the legendary gem sale here is undoubtedly "P2W", I would just argue that it "doesn't really matter" due to the kind of game it is. As of now Diablo Immortal does have things you can buy to hasten your power increases. I haven't played CoD Mobile so I had to look into that, and from what I can tell you're right.
